This beautiful and fluttery mask is inspired by blue Monarch butterflies.

This is a leather mask that has been hand crafted and shaped out of one piece of leather. I used acrylic paint for the base coat and to freehanded the swirls and butterfly design. The base color is a black and the swirls are white and metallic blue. There is white and blue surrounding the eye holes. There are even 12 genuine Swarovski crystals to make it sparkle.

Off to the side, there is a blue butterfly. These wings have been painted on blue feathers and cut into shape. There are feathers behind that in white/black, blue, black, and white.

This beautiful mask is truly wearable art. It would be perfect for Halloween, a masquerade dance, or even a Victorian or Venetian costume. This mask is light weight and comfortable to wear, but would look wonderful as a piece hung on a wall.
